Barre3 & Me!! (And Pudding!)

Anyone know what these four ingredients make??  Chocolate Avocado Pudding, of course!! 

It was so fun and exciting to go LIVE on @barre3’s IG today!  It was great to connect with new people and make one of my favorite healthy snacks, Chocolate Avocado Pudding.  This one is so easy and a total family favorite.  Plus, there are so many health benefits.  Check it out…

1 ripe avocado, pitted
2 tbsp unsweetened cacao powder
2 tbsp honey
6 tbsp milk of choice (I use almond milk)

Put it all in the blender and blend until smooth like pudding!  That’s it people!  Done and done!

Don’t let anyone ever tell you that chocolate ain’t good for you!  Cacao powder is a true superfood!  Let me sing its praises…

  • High in magnesium:  like so high!  Magnesium is a calming and relaxing mineral that is good for your muscles and your brain.  Love that it is naturally occurring in cacao.
  • High in fiber:  Helps keep you full and helps keep everything moving through nicely 🙂
  • High in iron:  it is a great vegan/vegetarian source of iron

I love to chow down on this chocolate pudding anytime, but particularly when I am sleep deprived (so basically all the time, #momlife)!  The healthy fats from the avocado help with cognitive function, the cacao helps give me even calm energy, and the honey gives me a little unrefined glucose boost.  So yeah- it’s the perfect food.
